Note: There appears to be little correlation between the Harris County Tax Assessor's listings for positions versus precincts for this office. In other words, we have no idea (see email below of ongoing inquiry into the issue.)

Having not gotten any response to the email to HCDE attempting to understand clearly the different uses of "precinct" between HCDE and the HC Tax Assessor's office, by process of elimination find that HCTax "precinct" = HCDE "position" and that HCDE "precinct" is misleading. There are only 4 HCDE "precincts", and HCTax uses a "Precinct 6".
